IBRAHIMOVIC IS NOT A BAD GUY : LAVEZZI

Ezequiel Lavezzi has stressed that Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not the bad guy that people think he is as the Argentine believes the former AC Milan star is just trying to maintain a certain image.

Ibrahimovic has earned himself somewhat of a reputation as a bad boy for his often flamboyant behaviour on and off the pitch, but Lavezzi has insisted that the Sweden star is an enjoyable person in real life.

"Zlatan is not the ogre that people think he is. He is nothing like the image he's selling to the outside world. He has a certain image that he's living up to, but he's not like that in real life," Lavezzi told Goal.

"Everybody makes his own decisions on how to act and how you feel about certain things. Fortunately, I have a very good relationship with him and I can talk with him about all kinds of things.

"His real personality is different than his image in the football world. He is not like that, that's just a character he's playing."

Ibrahimovic and Lavezzi both joined PSG in 2012 after previously plying their trade in Serie A.
